Dear Member of The European Thermoforming Division
 
It is my task as the Chair of this division to inform you of any plans we, as a board, are making for the future and as we have just announced the site of the next conference, our 5th, I thought it was right to send you this information. 
 
We have signed a contract to hold the conference on 17th and 18th March 2006 in Salzburg Austria.  We are very excited about this venue as it is totally different from Viareggio.  It is in the centre of Europe and far from the sea.  The Viareggio conference was a great success with over 280 delegates and visitors.  At our next venue we want to achieve an even higher number, our target is 350 to 375. 
 
The Salzburg venue is a new theatre with excellent facilities which you can see if you go on to  www.salzburgcongress.at   You will see a very large and spacious building and we want to fill the whole area, so the E-T-D can offer the best environment for all our members to listen to technical and commercial presentations and network with their colleagues for our industry.
 
A new innovation at the 5th European Thermoforming Conference will be a parts competition and we ask that all companies should take the time to submit a product.  If you go to our web site www.e-t-d.org you will be able to read all about the parts competition and also see the updates on the conference as soon as they are posted.
 
Finally I wanted to advise everybody that our division has won, for the last two years, the award for the fastest growing division outside of the USA.
 
You can then see why we are so proud to be part of this vibrant and go ahead group.
